Hello David Quite a lot of the footage in the video appeared to be of 'the Troubles' in Northern Ireland, a phase of Irish history largely born of too much parental influence, rather than too little, sectarian hatred and bigotry passed down (mostly) from father to son, on both sides of the divide. No kid is 'born bad', in my opinion, behaviour, of whatever kind, is learned, which, of course, always gives the opportunity for good habits and attitudes to be fostered. Maybe, one day, the cycle can be broken, education being the most likely avenue to do that.
Sammy is right, the cycle can be broken, because kids aren't “born bad”, they are taught bad, either through too little parental involvement, or in some cases (here, think of the hatred kids from fundamental churches spew) too much.
Maybe one day, we can all live in peace with one another. Nah, no chance at that!
Friends of yours?

With maybe the Internet being a big part of the educational process.

I meant the kids in the lyrics…not the video.
